The M3x ViNYL is a phono stage designed for those who want to extract the most juice from their vinyl records, whether their turntable is equipped with a moving coil (MC) or moving magnet (MM) cartridge, and do so at a price very competitive.
Like its big brother, the respected M6x ViNYL, Musical Fidelity 's new phono preamp incorporates circuitry made entirely of discrete components, the result being superior technical ranges and superior musicality. The creators of the M3x ViNYL put special emphasis on the aforementioned conception, since despite being more complex and expensive than that based on the use of integrated circuits, especially operational amplifiers, it provides a level of sonic refinement more in line with the essence of the analog audio.
The M3x ViNYL also incorporates a power supply featuring a special toroidal transformer for audio applications whose low-saturation core allows for a substantial reduction of parasitic electromagnetic radiation, a critical parameter in a type of product that handles extraordinarily low amplitude signals.
