The EVO3 Ascension is a stunning power cable that takes the design and technology associated with this type of product to a new level. Specifically, the new IsoTek is based on the use of silver-plated OCC ("Ohno Continuous Cast") copper conductors cryogenically treated to maximise conductivity and wrapped in an air dielectric with a partial FEP contact before an extruded FEP sheath seals the assembly. Each of these individual conductor groups is wrapped in Mylar and then an additional high purity copper shield, before being lightly stranded with air-filled FEP tubing. Thanks to this complex and innovative architecture, the EVO3 Ascension drastically reduces background noise, resulting in a truly three-dimensional opening of the sound image and unparalleled microdynamics. Recommended for all types of top-level audio and video components - including active subwoofers and speakers - and capable of withstanding currents of up to 16 amps, IsoTek's new power cable is also notable for the extreme quality of the connectors it incorporates, and is also available in a wide range of terminations for easy integration into any equipment.
