A member of Audio Research's exclusive new G Series, the GS150 has a unique beauty that comes from three striking front panel analogue displays that show the supply voltage and power output of each channel.
It is also the first amplifier designed by the legendary American company to incorporate the new Tung-Sol KT150 power valve, which means that this superb power amplifier combines a minimum output of 155 watts continuous per channel with an extraordinarily wide passband, while being designed to attack all types of speaker cabinets without limitations (including separate connection terminals for 4-ohm and 8-ohm impedance models).
Like the GSPre preamplifier in the G Series, the GS150 uses a fully balanced circuit topology, to the extent that it incorporates only XLR inputs. On the rear panel there is also a tube life indicator, as well as an RS232 port, a 12V trigger signal socket and a connector for the power cable (20A).
Finally, let's note that the GS150 also includes two speed-adjustable fans that help to optimise the evacuation of excess calories in a very low-noise environment.
