MOON 861 is a power amplifier with the pedigree of the legendary MOON 888 and the holistic design philosophy of North Collection. Its innovative technologies define the pinnacle of control and transparency, delivering the richest tonal personality and deepest soundstage.

The ingenious new MDCA (MOON Distortion-Cancelling Amplifier) circuit manages the sound while preserving maximum detail and rhythm. Its power supply has two MOON 1500 VA low noise transformers and 228,000 uF capacitance without giving up an unbreakable thermal balance.

With the push of a button, the mono design serves 300W per channel into 8 ohm stereo load, doubling it at 4 ohm or reaching 800W at 8 ohm if bridged to mono.

MOON engineers have used everything they've learned from four decades of research and development to create the MOON 861. Its massive styling and quality is reminiscent of the 888 stage, while the iconic front panel features an LED indicator that provides information at all times with the MOONLink technology.
