A sophisticated external power supply that stands out first of all for its robust and refined mechanical construction, made entirely of metal and with an industrial design that matches that of the products for which it is intended, specifically the Nu-Vista Vinyl 2 phono preamplifier, the Nu-Vista DAC digital audio processor and the still unavailable, although imminent, Nu-Vista CD compact disc player.

In keeping with its reference status, the Nu-Vista Uniti PSU’s internal architecture consists of three completely separate power subsystems, each integrating a state-of-the-art encapsulated transformer with inter-winding shielding, DC blocking circuitry and an elaborate mains filter implemented with discrete elements, in order to separately supply extremely clean voltage to the aforementioned devices.

As with the Nu-Vista PRE preamplifier and the Nu-Vista PAS and Nu-Vista PAM power amps, this approach contributes substantially to improved noise performance by moving the AC power supply from the main unit to a separate enclosure.

On the other hand, the use of separate power connections for each of the audio channels and for the control systems (there is even a specific socket for heating vacuum tubes, i.e. nuvistors) results in an increase in the depth of sound and the separation between channels, thus improving the spatial presentation.
