Updated version of the renowned LS28, the LS28SE is an extremely flexible and intuitive line preamplifier. It includes four sets of inputs and two sets of both balanced and unbalanced outputs to allow for maximum connectivity.
To this we must add a practical menu system to control parameters such as the hours of use of the valves, automatic shutdown, routing in Home Theater systems and the naming of inputs.
At the heart of the LS28SE are four 6H30 vacuum tubes in the analogue circuitry, which are complemented by numerous (and expensive) technical refinements imported from the Reference 160 range of amplifiers, including gold foil coupling capacitors.
The result is a noticeable improvement in parameters such as clarity, resolution, speed of response to transients and the feeling of space; In short, musicality.
