The Nu-Vista PRE is a reference stereo preamplifier that concentrates all the know-how of the prestigious British firm in the processing of audio signals from line sources.

Equipped with an opulent dedicated power supply housed in an eye-catching separate block and branded as the Nu-Vista PRE PSU, the Nu-Vista PRE builds on the outstanding and widely proven circuitry used in the Nu-Vista 800 model. This means it features a fully balanced topology featuring first and foremost a nuvistor-based amplifier stage (the complex and unique device that gives its name to the reference series from Musical Fidelity) 6S51N and configured in Class A.

Equally demanding is the Nu-Vista PRE PSU, housed in an imposing separate metal enclosure which, in addition to the power supply circuitry itself, includes filtering networks for both the incoming and outgoing signal. Thanks to this design, the level of silence from the various power supply lines is further reduced, resulting in the virtual elimination of artefacts present in the mains signal that could affect the sensitive audio circuitry.
