Third level, upstream, offered by Ortofon 's range of Reference audio interconnect cables, the Reference Bronze, is a design that offers an extraordinarily wide passband and clear, neutral sound for a price that in the realm of High End must be considered very competitive. More technologically elaborate than the two models that precede it, the Reference Bronze combines three conductive materials, all based on 4N copper: HiFC, OFC and PCUHD (“Pure Copper High Durability”).

Specifically, these materials are organized into two bundles, each of which is in turn made up of four different types of conductors arranged in parallel and oriented in such a way that their internal structure remains symmetrical to each other. The Reference Bronze is finished with nickel-plated RCA connectors with rhodium-plated housing or gold-plated XLR connectors in order to ensure the most effective and reliable connection possible.
