PrimaLuna's first phono preamplifier (with 100% tube architecture), the PrimaLuna Phono Preamplifier is an electronics that immediately catches the eye with its elegant originality of conception and engineering.
Taking as a starting point the search for control options and functionalities as specific as possible, in order to widen the range of potential buyers, the new PrimaLuna has been designed to provide a wide range of impedance, gain and capacitance settings, allowing a very high quality sound to be achieved without the slightest complexity in terms of handling.
Among the most significant technical particularities of the EVO Tube Phono Preamplifier, first of all, an entirely handmade construction, combining a fully ventilated, five-layer finished steel chassis with internal point-to-point wiring made entirely by hand.
Then there is the use of top-quality components, which is otherwise customary for PrimaLuna: ceramic sockets for the vacuum tubes, Nichicon and DuRoch capacitors, rectifier circuitry based on 5AR4 tubes, 12AX7 tubes for the MM stage and 6922 for the MC stage, gold-plated RCA connectors and powerful shielding at the most sensitive points.
