Intermediate model of the existing Gravis subwoofer range and specifically designed to combine perfectly with the Olympica Nova collection from Sonus Faber , the Gravis III stands out first of all for mounting a truly impressive speaker.
Specifically, it is a 254 mm diameter transducer equipped with a sandwich structure cone composed of three sheets and a beehive-shaped core that provides it with extreme rigidity and lightness.
Two features that, in combination with a high-power magnetic motor, allow you to make large displacements without distortion to provide the most precise and controlled bass possible. The next relevant element of the Gravis III is a Class AB amplifier made with audiophile grade components capable of delivering a continuous power of 600 watts and a peak power of 900 watts while preserving at all times the harmonic subtleties of the lower octaves of the spectrum.
Added to this is a Digital Signal Processor whose task is to maximize the linearity of the frequency response curve through a series of adjustments that allow optimizing the dynamic impact and tonal precision required for each application.
Finally, let us point out that the new Sonus Faber active subwoofer can be completely controlled through a practical dedicated “app”.
