The SUB80P is an active subwoofer that is part of the range of audiovisual components for high-end residential applications from the legendary Californian firm JBL.
Elegantly presented, its compact design does not prevent it from providing generous bass response, while offering the installation flexibility inherent to the absence of cables. The SUB80P uses a 203 mm (8”) bottom-firing woofer mounted in a sealed enclosure and includes convenient connectivity that makes it easy to integrate into stereo, multi-channel music or home theater systems.
Its internal amplifier configured in Class D delivers a continuous power of 200 W and a dynamic power of 400 W, allowing connection to the system both by cable and wirelessly. On the rear panel of the JBL we find a control to adjust the volume level, a switch to bypass the crossover filter, a phase switch and both line and LFE stereophonic jacks, while the connection to the wireless transmitter is made by means of a RCA connector set.
The SUB80P comes complete with a beautiful gloss black finish, a power supply for the wireless transmitter, and a 12V trigger signal cable.
