The SUB80P is an active subwoofer that is part of the range of audio-visual components for high-end residential applications from the legendary Californian firm JBL.
Elegantly presented, its compact design does not prevent it from providing a generous bass response, while offering the installation flexibility inherent in the absence of cables. The SUB80P uses a 203 mm (8") low-emission woofer mounted in a sealed enclosure and includes convenient connectivity for easy integration into stereo and multi-channel music or home theatre systems.
Its internal Class D-configured amplifier delivers 200 W continuous and 400 W dynamic power, and can be connected to the system both wired and wirelessly. On the rear panel of the JBL is a control for adjusting the volume level, a switch to bypass the crossover filter, a phase switch and both line and LFE stereo jacks, while connection to the wireless transmitter is via a set of RCA connectors.
The SUB80P is completed by a beautiful glossy black finish, a power supply for the wireless transmitter and a 12 V trigger signal cable.
