A slightly simplified version of the HT/1205 MKII, the HT/1003 MKII is an elegant and ultra-compact active subwoofer with a perfectly proportioned airtight enclosure, complemented by a solid internal reinforcement structure that minimizes the influence of potential vibrations generated by its new and sophisticated CarbonGlas transducer with a diameter of 254 mm (10”), designed to perform large displacements with hardly any distortion.
As for the internal amplifier, it is entrusted to a new generation design that delivers 300 continuous watts in Class D and allows the HT/1003 MKII, together with REL's famous PerfectFilters input filters, to provide sound pressure levels of 100 % higher -double!- than those of its predecessor without sacrificing precision or musicality.
Regarding cable connectivity, there are both line and LFE stereo inputs and outputs equipped with RCA connectors, and wireless connection via REL HT-Air is also possible.
