This subwoofer features a 300mm high-oscillation polycellulose low-frequency driver with two rear-oscillating ports that deliver deep, powerful, signature JBL bass. A full complement of controls provides easy system integration.
Each Stage 2 Series speaker features ribbed polycellulose cone drivers. The pure pulp cone has a proprietary blend of other materials added to enhance its rigidity, and the ribbed details are reminiscent of legendary JBL designs. These speakers produce deep, accurate bass that fills the entire space.

The 220P’s bass reflex design uses two asymmetrical, back-vibrating ports. This new asymmetrical design reduces the velocity of air as it exits the speaker cabinet, eliminating any chafing or sound coloration.
