The CS529BT is the new benchmark in fully automatic turntables, applying the highest quality and advanced technology.
The CS529BT offers maximum listening pleasure thanks to the double cardan bearing of the toner and high quality pivoting ball bearings for optimal record tracking. The classic double toner moves autonomously at the push of a button: simply place the record on the turntable and press the start button.
The chassis is made entirely of thick MDF. It is supported on 62 mm diameter decoupling feet covered with an elastomer surface. Two types of veneer are available: black and walnut.
The platter is made of cast aluminium with a weight of 850 grams and is accompanied by a 2.5 mm thick rubber cover plate. This platter rests on a pair consisting of a steel rod and a brass bearing. This belt-driven turntable features a high-quality motor (less than 0.08% noise and flicker), capable of operating at 33 rpm, 45 rpm and 78 rpm, and backed by an optical control system (rotation speed).
Heralded as one of the strengths of this turntable Dual, the 221.5 mm long aluminium arm features a dual gimbal gyroscope, all mounted on a ball-bearing pivot. Two adjustments are accessible: the counterweight via a screw system and the anti-skid. However, it is not possible to modify the VTA.
This turntable is equipped with a Ortofon 2M Red capsule and an internal phono preamplifier which allows connection to amplifiers with MM phono input as well as to amplifiers with line input only.
The other strong point of this device is its fully automatic operation with automatic return functions (at the end of the record) or speed control.
The CS529BT incorporates a Bluetooth chip that allows to send the audio signal to an external speaker or wireless headphones, but also to create a bridge with a free app, available on Android and iOS, that allows to control the turntable, particularly its basic functions: play/pause, rotation speed, etc.
