Belonging to the Pro-Ject “Artist Collection”, the Peace & Love Turntable has been created in collaboration with the powerful Universal Music Group to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band, an incredible rock supergroup that carries for three decades touring and in which Ringo Starr, the remembered drummer of the legendary The Beatles, collaborates with carefully selected artists and friends to offer a unique show. At an engineering level, the basis of this new vinyl player is a celebrated Pro-Ject bestseller, the Essential III, improved with a methacrylate platter. As is usual for the Austrian firm, we are looking at a product packed with audiophile-grade components, such as a high-precision diamond-cut pulley, an Ortofon OM10 moving magnet (MM) pickup cartridge, an MDF chassis made of high quality, an aluminum arm, a very low tolerance turning system with a stainless steel shaft and electronic motor control to optimize turning stability.
