A version of the celebrated X1 model equipped with Pro-Ject's innovative balanced phono connection, the X1B takes the concept of an audiophile turntable with an audiophile soul, a democratic vocation and an unbeatable price/performance ratio to a new level of excellence.
As part of the "True Balanced Connection" range of turntables from the prestigious and ultra-award-winning Austrian company, the X1B is the first model from the same company to incorporate a balanced output with XLR Mini connector, in order to guarantee full compatibility with the new Phono Box S3 and Phono Box DS3 phono preamplifiers from the same brand.
It should be noted that the balanced connection brings substantial improvements to the reproduction of the delicate signals picked up by the capsule of a turntable by drastically reducing the noise present during the sending of the signals to the electronics responsible for processing them.
Equipped with an 8.6" aluminium/carbon fibre body and a factory preset moving magnet (MM) pick-up cartridge Ortofon Pick it S2 (to benefit from the balanced connection, this cartridge must be replaced by a moving coil cartridge), the X1B houses an 8.6" aluminium/carbon fibre body and a moving magnet (MM) pick-up cartridge Pick it S2 (to benefit from the balanced connection, this cartridge must be replaced by a moving coil cartridge), the X1B houses an extraordinary compendium of the engineering solutions that have made Pro-Ject the world's number one turntable manufacturer, to deliver an extraordinarily honest, rich and agile sound for all types of musical content.
