The latest iteration of the legendary Debut is a turntable entirely made in the European Union, where the fundamental aspects of maximising sound quality have been carefully addressed, the first of which is a new motor suspension that helps to further eliminate unwanted noise, thereby increasing resolution and dynamic range. In addition, the inclusion of a generously thick elastomer ring inside the platter substantially reduces resonances due to its high absorption capacity. The Debut Carbon EVO also features an electronic speed control that guarantees a rotational stability comparable to that of much more expensive turntables. Another of the most significant new features of the new Pro-Ject is the replacement of the 4 non-damped plastic feet of the previous model with 3 aluminium feet with internal elastomer damping and adjustable in height to decouple the set from possible external vibrations. At this point, the Debut Carbon EVO retains some of the innovative solutions that made the Debut Carbon so successful, such as the one-piece 8.6" carbon fibre tone arm, the 1.7 kg steel platter, the high-precision tension strap, the gold-plated RCA connectors, the factory preset moving-magnet pick-up capsule Ortofon 2M Red and several premium finishes, to which several colours have just been added in a satin version.
