Based on the innovative magnetic drive system of the award-winning Oasis turntable, the Bardo is another small work of art that the brilliant Helmut Brinkmann has created for those who wish to take the musicality of vinyl records to its ultimate consequences based on an inspired aesthetic conception. in the design of its two reference analog reading sources, the Balance and LaGrange models. The Bardo incorporates the magnetic motor and platter first introduced in the Oasis, as well as a special mat made of acrylic material. For its part, both the shaft and the bearing system are the same as those in the Balance model, while the power supply is located in a separate plastic enclosure.
Regarding the base for reading arms, it can be rotated and fixed to carry out an easy and precise adjustment of all types of arms with a length between 9” and 10'5”, being carried out directly by Brikmann in the factory. the holes corresponding to the arm chosen by the end user. Likewise, the output connectors on the back of the Bardo can be either unbalanced (RCA) or balanced (XLR), while it is also possible to install tonearms equipped with DIN connectors or fixed cables.
