A version of the celebrated Debut PRO equipped with Pro-Ject's innovative "True Balanced Connection" technology, the Debut PRO B is an elegant turntable that allows the discerning enthusiast with a compatible phono preamplifier (the Phono Box S3 B, Phono Box DS3 B and Tube Box DS3 B models from Pro-Ject are ideal for this purpose) to benefit from the recognised advantages of the symmetrical connection, especially the reduction of noise and the corresponding increase in signal-to-noise ratio and dynamic range.
On the purely mechanical side, the first highlight is an 8.6" one-piece arm made of an extremely rigid and carefully damped aluminium/carbon fibre sandwich structure, which ensures perfect tracking of the disc groove. On the other hand, the possibility of adjusting the vertical reading angle (VTA) and azimuth, as well as the height of the whole assembly, offers the user the possibility of adapting the arm to changes in height (and using a wide range of pick-up mats and capsules), guaranteeing the best possible sound quality at all times.
The cymbal itself is made of cast aluminium and includes a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) ring on its inner side to absorb possible resonances and thus minimise weeping and tremulant noise. As for the chassis, the usual MDF with anti-resonance treatment is used from Pro-Ject.
